All content provided, including curriculum, publications, and educational materials, is the intellectual property of Innovative Learning Institute and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, adapt, redistribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

We reserve the right to withdraw, suspend, or cancel services at any time for any reason, including but not limited to noncompliance with these terms, misuse of content, or inappropriate conduct. We also reserve the right to update or discontinue parts of our website or services without notice.

While we strive to ensure accuracy, we are not liable for errors in content, program availability, or website downtime. All information is provided "as is" without warranties, and use of our services is at your own risk.

Users are expected to behave respectfully and lawfully. We prohibit hate speech, harassment, discriminatory language, spam, unauthorized promotions, or any activity that disrupts learning or threatens the safety of our users. Any violations may result in suspended access or legal action.

Return and Refund Policy

Innovative Learning Institute is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) public benefit organization. As such, all fees, payments, donations, and contributions made in connection with our programs, services, events, or resources are considered final and non-refundable. This includes tuition, registration fees, consulting fees, professional development sessions, donations, or any other payments made to the organization.

Due to our nonprofit structure and the nature of our services—which involve scheduling staff time, reserving resources, and planning customized educational programming—we are unable to offer refunds under any circumstances, including but not limited to voluntary withdrawal, missed sessions, scheduling conflicts, dissatisfaction with services, illness, or changes in financial or personal circumstances.

By enrolling in any program or service, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • All payments are non-refundable, regardless of participation or completion.
     
  • Payment plans, if offered, must be completed in full even if services are not fully utilized.
     
  • Donations and fees are used to support our mission and are not returnable, consistent with IRS regulations governing nonprofit charitable contributions.
     

Innovative Learning Institute reserves the right to cancel or reschedule programs due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, public health emergencies, or facility issues). In such cases, and solely at our discretion, we may offer service credits or rescheduling options. However, we are under no obligation to provide financial refunds of any kind.

We encourage all participants and clients to carefully review program details, dates, and policies before submitting payment. By proceeding with payment, you affirm that you understand and accept the terms of this No Refund, No Cancellation Policy in full.

At Innovative Learning Institute, we believe that education should feel alive—not standardized or boring. We exist to reimagine learning as something human, hands-on, and deeply meaningful for every learner.

We design experiences that speak to how people actually learn—through curiosity, relationships, experimentation, and relevance. Whether a student is thriving, struggling, bored, brilliant, or somewhere in between, our job is not to “fix” them—our job is to build the right environment around them.

We partner with educators, families, and communities to create custom curriculum, real-world projects, and professional development that spark engagement, confidence, and growth. We listen. We adapt. We innovate—because that’s what education should be doing too.

At Innovative Learning Institute, curiosity is our compass. Our approach is rooted in the belief that meaningful learning begins with a spark—a question, a fascination, a challenge worth solving. We follow that spark into rich, interdisciplinary learning experiences that are custom-designed for each student, school, or community we serve.

We use project-based learning not as a trend, but as a philosophy. Our students don’t complete worksheets—they build things, test theories, publish stories, launch ideas, and reflect deeply on what they’ve made. Each project is hands-on, relevant, and connected to something larger than the classroom. Whether it’s designing a tiny home, creating a startup pitch, studying patterns in nature, or solving local community problems, learning feels real because it is real.

We believe in the power of play, exploration, and creative risk-taking—not just for young children, but for learners of all ages. Our approach includes play-based strategies woven into every stage of learning, from sensory-rich math quests to story-driven science labs. Play is not a break from learning; it’s a pathway into deep engagement, joyful discovery, and meaningful retention.

Our programs are never off-the-shelf. Every curriculum unit, camp, coaching session, or enrichment lab we offer is built from the ground up around the unique needs, goals, and learning profiles of those we’re working with. We don’t adapt mass curriculum—we craft custom learning experiences that align with developmental stages, executive functioning strengths, cultural identity, and individual interests.

We specialize in interdisciplinary learning, where math, science, writing, human development, and creativity intersect. Our learners make connections between content and the world around them—between logic and story, design and empathy, curiosity and skill. This approach fosters critical thinking, real-world application, and lifelong relevance.

Our Team

The Innovative Learning Institute is powered by a dynamic team of educators, scientists, and specialists united by a shared purpose: to create transformative learning experiences that actually work—for every learner.

At the center of our work is Dr. Gabriela Locoh-A, our Math Lead and founder, a nationally recognized STEAM educator with a Ph.D. in Learning Sciences. With decades of experience designing curriculum, training educators, and leading student-centered programs, Dr. Gabriela brings both visionary thinking and deep practical knowledge to every learning environment we build.

Surrounding her is a trusted network of educators and professionals—including scientists, educational therapists, classroom teachers, speech-language pathologists, executive functioning coaches, artists, and tutors—who collaborate to bring each learning experience to life. Every team member is carefully selected for their expertise, passion, and ability to engage diverse learners through creativity, empathy, and rigor.

We don’t work in silos. We work as a collective—sharing insights, building customized pathways, and staying agile to meet the real-time needs of students, families, and schools. Our interdisciplinary model allows us to support the whole learner: intellectually, socially, emotionally, and creatively.

Together, we combine research, imagination, and experience to create educational ecosystems that empower learners and support the educators and families who guide them.
